This is a really nice, well made knife. The blades are made of Solingen Steel, with Solingen Germany being world renowned for its incredible steel product. I have a few Solingen knives, and they are just awesome, i cant imagine a knife holding a better edge. Knife is 3-1/2 inches long when closed, inch when the big blade is open. Great blade snap, and all the blades are beveled on top as well for superior carving. Feels heavy when you pick it up, you KNOW youve got a tool in your hand. I bought several of these knives, the one used for the photos became my personal knife as i noticed it had a grinder mark on the back bolsters.none of the others have this,and are in perfect condition. (who am i kiddin,i just needed a reason to keep one!)
